Mind you, all 3 are beefy and do a LOT of damage, I just think the Leper hurts the most, especially if you can use anger with him. Hellion has reach, Crusader has utility and the Leper has damage. There are 4 classes I tend to avoid: Occultist, Jester, Graverobber and Plague Doctor.Īpart from those 4 you need 2 frontliners, candidates are: Hellion, Crusader and Leper. He has solid DPS and some support abilties.Īs above, this is overly simplistic, each class has more to offer than that listed, camp abilties, trap disarms etc. Occultist is the main burst healer, his heals can heal for 0 or 10+ but can also bleed a target making him a bit of a loose cannon at times. Jester is a mobile DPS with amazing group buffs and solid dodge. He has high dodge and high accuracy with self-buffing attacks. Grave Robber is a very mobile DPS with some support functionality. Plague Doctor is a decent backup healer, can remove DoT's, can stun, can blight and bleed enemies and is generally pretty versatile.īountyhunter is a solid class with good DPS but excells at single target killing, his best abilities involve hitting marked or stunned targets for potentially massive damage. Highwayman is a solid DPS class, very mobile and can crowd control plus has good dodge and accuracy. Self buffing but has some hard hitting abilities that debuff her afterwards. Hellion is a solid DPS class and can tank (off-tank really) just fine.
No great mobility, but can self heal and self buff plus his DPS is solid even if his early accuracy isn't great. Leper is a real tank, only useful on spots 1 and 2. Vestal is the best all-round healer and has the only AoE heal in the game but can stun and DPS just fineĬrusader is a solid tank, can heal a bit, self buff and can pump out good DPS from slots 1 and 2 plus can charge forward from further back slots. In general I would classify the classes in this manner if I wanted to be overly simplistic: If your just starting out and want something simple try: The only thing most people would agree is a Vestal in slot 4 is pretty essential, but then there are plenty of players who run without a Vestal or any healer at all.
